The Grammys will pay tribute to Whitney Houston




Following the disclosure of the unfortunate death of Whitney Houston in the media worldwide, the organization of the Grammy Awards decided to include a small but heartfelt tribute to the singer who was nominated more than once and winning the coveted gramophone.

The Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson, will be responsible to perform the tribute to the singer died Saturday in Los Angeles.

Hudson is a big fan of Whitney, while passing through American Idol was noted for the interpretation of some of the successes of Houston. She also received her first Grammy delivered from the hands of Whitney Houston.


The ceremony will take place tonight at Staples Center in Los Angeles will be framed in an atmosphere of sadness and sympathy. This was stated by Ken Erhlich, executive producer of the gala.

"This death is still very fresh in the minds of everyone, but we would be remiss not to recognize the unique contribution of Whitney to music and fans in general and in particular its close relationship with the Grammys, his wins and nominations for the years,
